These are of a both sharp and friendly nature. He made many books with friends in which he shows himself a keen illustrator. As a painter he shows his personal surrealism in such a wide range of color as one would not expect from a well trained typesetter (a quality in which he also gives character to many fine prints, fine press books and artist-books). The paintings mark out in an abstract quality that seems to indicate that figuration that is formed by the incicions that make the woodcut are in fact ways to make greys, as much as ways to tell a story artist / bookmaker / composer Since some years Wilfried Bohne and Joop Visser work on projects of mechanical music making. In these projects they search for an integration of music, printmaking and text. Some works have been performed at the Fijnhouttheater, J. van Lennepkade 334 Amsterdam During a concert on 18th. April 1999 in Amsterdam they performed for the first time a larger piece, consisting of drawings/paintings by Wilfried Bohne in which he had musical notes planned on grafically decided spots on top of a mechanical music-box paper-tape bearing the composition "A travellers' Folk songs" by Joop Visser. This took place as part of a concert organized by COM +||| |\_||--|\/|\||+|||/||I\_||--|\/|\||+|||/| Pavel Zemcik and Jan Vicar Two Chesco paper-makers here at work on a major project during the 4th Int. BuchKunstBiennale Horn, Austria, 1998 Pavel Zemcik is an artist that works in paper mainly; his papers are objects of fine-art rather then plain leaves. Jan Vicar is also a printmaker. In 1994 he made, together with Edition Thurnhof Horn, the book: DEMENTI EINER BESCHWERDE / VYVRACENI STIZNOZTI. For this he made a series of prints.
